Restoration of painted decor
Graffito works on restoring old decorations from post-19th century, or on restoring paintings and gilding in coordination with heritage professionals, for protected sites. Trained in traditional techniques, we can work to renovate and beautify decorations on any surface, as well as old plasters that imitate marble. The work can involve ornamentation, frescoes, decorative walls or panels, gilding, marble and wood imitation, etc. We work with individuals, in old buildings, castles, chapels...
Every intervention is preceded by a survey to analyze the supports and materials to be used, as well as the renovation steps. The goal is to restore the painted decor while respecting the original colors and styles.
Whether the building is protected or not, the painted decorations are an integral part of its history: our job is to preserve these traces of the past.
